SHAPE-ID Participating in Positioning the Humanities in the 2020s Symposium

SHAPE-ID is looking forward to presenting a Poster and Lightning Talk at the Herrenhausen Symposium: Positioning the Humanities in the 2020s next week. The symposium is organised by the Volkswagen Foundation and the German U15 Universities and takes place on 10-12 September in Hannover.

The exciting and wide-ranging programme includes several sessions addressing questions central to SHAPE-ID’s concern to improve the potential for interdisciplinary collaboration between disciplines within the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS), and between AHSS and other scientific disciplines, particularly Bridging the Gap Between Different Research Cultures and The Humanities’ Contribution to Meeting the Challenges of a Sustainable Future.

The full programme is available here and we’ll be tweeting from the symposium from the SHAPE-ID Twitter Account.
